An Open Window

Looking through an open window the future passes by
Visions appear like movies playing out from beginning to end
This is where time stands still in this series of relaxation

Bodies unwind from head to toe melting into the air
Lungs filled with this moment breathe...

Dreaming of far away places while clouds form shapes one by one
In the distance a mountain with one single tree pointing east

A glimpse of a bird in flight brings the realization of freedom in its true form
With eyes closed the sun is warm… sweet...

This moment pours out and flows in many directions
Leading to purity of thought...
purity of mind...

Openness and freedom prevail as the sun sets
The window now closed waits...
To be opened once more and fulfill another journey

Forever Changed

At the door of hope lies my heart
Beating... waiting...
Watching for change to come
Knowing that if I wait long enough it will
This is the way it happens
No turning back now it seems
Impossible to think of the past
Gone like dreams you cannot remember

Forever changing your ideas...
Of what makes you complete
Looking deep within
Pulling away...
Soon there will be just a glimpse of what use to be

Now forever changed

An Extension Of Love

You have given me all you have
But for now I am broken...
No longer a whole person...
Just here after the storm looking for answers
Though I know you are at peace... resting...
Why than do I feel anger instead of happiness
Frustration instead of calm
Trying so hard to smile...

What right do I have to be angry and why
Spirituality is now... today...
Not when it is convenient and there is no other way
Sharing your legacy with all I know
Helps... To see your light
Shine...
Hoping one day love will endure
And pain subsides...

Confusion

I walked a while thinking it would help
There seemed know other recourse
The storm I carried weighed heavy and brought with it these questions

What should you do? What will you do? What can you do?
As I took in more air and my body began to respond the answer came freely
Relax... Let go...

I am life your precious gift
Accept the challenge

In Constant Memory

Dreams of the smile you bare
That unbelievable warming stare
You always took time for me
And listened to me speak

Now I am here alone
And you are gone
To a place I cannot reach
Just for now...
But from this experience
With you I have found
My peace...
Of mind in this time now

Remembering you gives me pleasure
Warms my heart...
Just like it did from the start
I’m forever grateful
In this constant memory

A Child

I have watched you transform from a child
In my arms you were held and put to sleep
Rocked and swayed until you eyes were at rest
Your innocence moves me...

My wishes for you go beyond any words I could say
With changes... Transformations... Emancipations... and Destinations...
To make things better for you

I have watched with care and understanding
So you could be free to make your own decisions
Never wanting you to feel pain...
Trying to protect your being...

Now that it is said and done
Remember how far you have come
Decide where you are going
Follow your dreams...

Happiness

Feels good...

The minute you attain it you know

Smiles form on your lips

Laughter resonates in the air

Sunshine seems brighter

The air smells sweeter

If I told you I had the answer...

Would you believe me?

Take just one moment and listen...

To love

Many Days Will Come

In the days ahead, you will grow, not aware at all that
Time and space have left you behind. And then many days
Will come, in light and dark turning the space you see
Into motion, moving you, changing you, leading you
Reminding you of the past

And then at last the grass, the trees, the breeze brings
You to the space of grace, the smile on your face radiates
In blues, and greens and all things seem to be a dream

And now, the day has come reminding you of the
Future, the grass, the breeze, the tree's
Are free just like me . . .

Speak

When you speak I listen to your words

Writing to stay alive in this awareness of the day

Staying in the light...

Today will be remembered and favored

Waiting patiently for your truth

Teaching what has been taught

Giving what has been given

Sharing what has been put in my hands

The Key

A teacher passes words along pure and uplifting

This knowledge to dream

The Key

A gift to see beyond your years I learn from you

What I will become you have changed with your presence

Give back what was given free is what I now see

The Key

Strength... Courage and hope in me

Still Here

Tell them we are here

Sons of warriors and daughters of mother earth

We are here...

In the wind that blows through the canyon of Ojai we are here

In the rain that falls onto the river of Saint Helen's Parish we are here

Through it all still here...

E dah Ho

Still here...

Tell them look to the sky the vision you see clear it tells the truth look still here

My brothers and sisters do not worry or fear

The hawk guides you for he knows the truth and will lead you to us that are still here

We gather together and wait for you

Among your father's, mother's, sister's and brother's still here

E dah Ho

Still here...

We will comfort you and light fires of peace in the night sky to guide you home

For all who know the truth have pride

Do not hold your head down but look up and wait for the clouds to clear you will see us here

E dah Ho

Still here...

A Clearer View

A Clearer view comes up from within like a burst of sunlight over the horizon

Just one glance will do so much for the soul

A clearer view leaves nothing to the imagination only purity of mind and body

This nationality all it's own stands alone like the strongest oak

A clearer view will leave nothing to say know words to remember

Just the sense of peace for you to embrace like the pedals of a perfect rose

A clearer view is what I wish for you and me so there is know need to ponder

What is right or wrong, just  unjust, real  unreal, perfect imperfect, is perfect for me

A clearer view for you... for me

A Father's Daughter

There is a picture I keep

Your smile so bright it fills the room

I hear your laugh as it penetrates the air I breathe

How it seems the time has passed quickly

One day after next a memory

With know time to prepare

For now this lesson of love ...

Of patience ... and care

I thank you everyday for allowing me to be

A father's daughter

With prayers's and love to share

Reflection

Reflection smooth as glass on the ocean

Dancing with delight, and pleasure with the sun

Take me with you where the horizon meets the sea

Life is renewed through this cycle...

Looking for reflection here

Could there be someone else out their...

In need of peace, and do they see the beauty I see

Dancing on the sea...

Reflection smooth as glass on the ocean

Dancing with delight, and pleasure with the sun

You have everything I long for

Within my reach...

The Moment

In the moment
All that seems unclear somehow appears clear
The ability to see with your heart
Your eyes wide like a child
Stepping into this new ability
You never expected to be easy
The light that draws you near is comforting
Warm… soothing… quiet… peaceful…
Certainty alive in the moment

When Tomorrow Comes

When tomorrow comes
I will see the light of day with a new desire
My color of view transparent like dew settled on glass
In a garden of lilies… with smells so sweet… I contemplate
I’m reaching now for more than dreams

When tomorrow comes
I see you in my sites within my reach
Smiling… about the days we spend in touch with our feelings

When tomorrow comes
You will see a change in me no longer shut but open to new things
Above and beyond these moments of clarity
Like dew settled on glass.... In a garden of lilies
With smells so sweet…
Tomorrow comes

A Friend

Miles away but never far from your heart
A friend
Just a sign and they are there
Appearing with there deepest thoughts in hand
Encouraging and enlightening there presence is shared
Between the two smiles and laughter throughout the air
Blowing in and out of endless tomorrows given with care

Miles apart but never far from your heart
A friend
Remembering all that you are and will become
The beginning and end of sentences you speak
Words can express the gratitude and love that cares
So much more for you than this
Miles away but never far from your heart
A friend

One Moment

For just one moment to be separated from here
From now... Beyond today
A tree grows toward light and learns to be still
Calm in solitude alone with thoughts of tomorrow far away
For just one moment to be separated from here
From now... Beyond today
Growing towards the light of always

Heaven on Earth

In every breath and word spoken of love
I believe to be a glimpse of heaven on earth
Smiles that bring joy to those less fortunate
Flowers that bloom in chosen places
Waterfalls flow to endless depths

Hearts filled with joy of newborns innocent and free
Dreams come to those who wait patiently
Driven by faith determined by will
I believe to be a glimpse of heaven on earth
To see these things come to pass

Sunrise... Sunsets... Oceans...Mountains...Stars...
Boundless sites of beauty just open your eyes
Maybe you too will see a glimpse of heaven on earth

In Time

There is a special moment that comes
When finding out what you wish and desire is possible
Through dreams we are able to see light
I challenge myself everyday to become a better spirit a better being
Hoping that what I do will balance the universe

I bring light... I give light... I am light...
Stars in the sky make me believe how could I not
Each day means more to me than the one before filled with hope
That I will have peace in my heart forever and ever
This journey for truth and wisdom has brought me here
In time...

I Imagine This Life

It’s amazing what the tides of change can bring
One day a miracle the next a disaster
I imagine this life...

The ups and downs and winding roads
Reaction is the key... Will you fall or stand?
Be weak or strong?
I imagine this life...

I choose it I know no other way
It is rooted and in my blood
All doors opened and closed make it true
I imagine this life...

Time brings so much more to gain
Relationships to remember always
Prayers will be answered and gifts will be shared
I imagine this life...

Day Dream

I think of a place I have been before
That sweet sense of peace once again
I think of sunshine on my face, and the smell of flowers
Grass under my feet, and my favorite jeans

I Daydream

These moments never end
I think of special friends
Laughing until we cry refusing to say goodbye
We Share stories of our past that make us laugh

I Daydream

Of rainbows and where they go
And what is this special place
I wonder what it could be we really see
Some miracle I believe
I day dream reality and pray
To dream this way everyday

Simple Pleasures Are Treasures

This was inspired by my labyrinth walk

I see so clear the time I have spent looking for simple pleasures

While traces of sand run through my hands

Finding tranquility in the night sky

My wishes attached to stars light the universe

With time there are so many emotions

The need to enjoy more, laugh more, and love more freely

Taking everyday as it is for what it is

Giving more of myself restores the light to my soul

Gestures of kindness bring smiles to a face of sadness

These simple pleasures are treasures I have restored

Fearful

Do not be fearful of the things you can not change or re arrange.
To fear these things is a waste of truth.

Our differences bring color to a blank canvas. Like an artist creating a masterpiece one stroke at a time.

We build our truths day by day.
Our reality is unique but universal.
Do not be fearful of things you can not change or re arrange.

To make change you must bring change.
This time comes only once.
Embrace it, cherish it, and give it life.

Purple Butterfly

When I found you I knew it was you.
My friend had gone away too soon.
Never did I say goodbye.
Now you were here unable to fly.

Your markings the same as your vision I see a radiant purple in front of me.
As I put you in my hand just a flicker of your wings would be the sign that you were here to say good bye.

I placed you in the antique case gently and you made no attempt to be set free but seemed to know here is where you should be.
Three days is all that it could be but for me an eternity.
This time to say goodbye before you could fly.

Blue Wildflower

Blue WildflowerMoment in Time
by Cynthia Kepp
We talked,
We walked,
for a Moment in Time.

You passed through my life that day and left your mark.
You may never pass my way again,
Or you may stay for a lifetime.

No matter what,
I want to say thank you for the impression you made
that will stay with me for eternity.

I enjoyed the walk,
I enjoyed the talk.
I am blessed for that moment in time.

The first time I saw you I knew you would affect my life,
though your role I did not know.
I asked myself, "Why is he alone?
Why does he sit so quiet, all alone?
Is he sad?
Is he glad to be alone?
Is he alone?
Is he lonely? "
There is so much I want to know.

I asked myself, "Why him?
When so many people pass through my life each day,
why him? "

What attracts me to you?
What makes me want to know more?
I want to know.

Even if my questions are never answered,
There is one thing I want you to know.
I have been blessed by the effect you had on me in that
Moment in Time.

Water Lily

Water LilyThere to Here
by Lauriel Mariondatter
You ask me how we got from there to here,
And you tell me you can't remember,
And so I'll answer it for you,
Though perhaps not the way you want me to.

We got from here to there on the back of a unicorn racing through our dreams,
We got from here to there when night's silence thundered between us,
We got from here to there believing a song to be stronger than the worlds pulling us apart.

And we were right.

We stood in good relation to the earth,
We stood in good relation to the gods,
We stood in good relation to all that was beautiful,
You see, we were Alive

We got from there to here when we believed reality to be stronger than love,
We got from there to here when we forgot to look up and believe that gravity held no hold on our souls,
We got from there to here when we left our storybooks for some other distracting play,

And now I do not know my world,
And I cannot find my God,
And beauty dies,
Shut out in the cold.

And I believe we can get from here to there if we just believe,
And I believe we can get from here to there if you'll take my hand,
And I believe we can get from here to there - if only in our dreams,

And when you're dancing across the sky,
Somewhere between the stars and the moon,
Look for me by your side, I'll meet you with hands outstretched,
We'll go - from here to there, there to here, and back again.

Sunflower

Sunflower
Flowers For Our Mothers
by Pauline Hamblin
Once a year we choose a day
To pay tribute to our mothers.
Flowers and gifts we do bestow
To her and not to others.
Through the years she gave her all
To raise her children well.
The sacrifices that she made
Would be too many to tell.
Her love outshines the brightest star,
As she shares equally with her offspring,
Making each one feel they are the best.
Fond memories tug gently at my heart strings.
To you, dear Mother, I write this poem,
To express my feelings of devotion;
For you have loved me all these years -
God's unconditional love in motion.
Every day is Mother's Day
In my heart so true.
I want to tell you every day
How much that I love you.

Slow Down and Smell the Flowers

LIFE SPEED Have you ever watched kids on the merry-go-round, or listened to rain slapping the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight,or gazed at the sun fading into the night? You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last. Do you run through each day on the fly. When you ask "How are you?," do you hear the reply? When the day is done, do you lie in your bed, with the next hundred chores running through your head? You better slow down, don't dance so fast, Time is short, the music won't last. Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow, and in his haste not seen his sorrow? Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die 'cause you never had time to call and say "Hi"? You better slow down, don't dance so fast time is short, the music won't last. When you run so fast to get somewhere, you miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, it's like an unopened gift thrown away. Life is not a race, so take it slower, hear the music before the song is over. -source unknown-

Check out my blog

My blog is where I post interesting sites, videos, or just a place to jot my thoughts.

"Every man owes a part of his time and money to the business or industry in which he is engaged." No man has a moral right to withhold his support from an organization that is striving to improve conditions within his sphere. Theodore Roosevelt

When I read this quote I think about the schools in lower income areas and how they can be improved to help these kids succeed. Eventually I would like to start a non-profit group that will provide high technology and other supplies to schools in low income areas. My dream to dream big!
